Job Opportunity

A bid writer is required to produce high-quality content for tender responses, manage the end-to-end bid process, and develop bid strategies in line with company policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Write compelling and persuasive content for tender responses.
  • Manage expressions of interest, tenders, quotations, and pricing materials.
  • Support the development of bid strategies.
  • Act in accordance with delegations for this role.
  • Acknowledge, understand, and comply with the Code of Conduct and Company Policies.
  • Comply with all national, legal, and stakeholder regulations, procedures, and expectations.
  • Lead by example and live the company's values.
  • Promote risk-based thinking and ensure risk management practices are utilised.

Requirements:

  • A background in civil construction and commercial construction.
  • 2-5 years of bid writing experience.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification or significant experience in civil engineering.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Clear English Language speaking and written skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Proof reading ability.
  • A valid passport.
  • The ability and willingness to travel to the head office for an in-person meeting.
