Tax Services Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to assist our tax experts for the upcoming tax season.

  • Assist in preparing business returns and fully preparing customer tax returns under the supervision of a tax expert.
  • Work with our team to provide expert guidance and service to clients from around the world.
  • Collaborate with other team members to timely and accurately file tax returns as needed throughout the busy season.

The ideal candidate will have experience preparing and reviewing Federal and State income tax returns, handling tax notices and disputes, and be familiar with tax filings such as form 1120/5472 for non-US residents and form 1065 for partnerships.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing tax calculations, inputting data, and researching pertinent information to solve filing questions.
  • Applying appropriate practices, procedures, and processes to appropriately input client data into federal and state tax returns for review.
  • Communicating with clients to resolve their various questions and inquiries around tax season.

The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational and analytical skills, effective English communication skills, both written and oral, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
