Job Description

The Quality Analyst, Coding position involves collaborating with internal staff to develop improved capabilities in documentation, coding, and compliance. You'll be responsible for assessing and reviewing coding quality on completed accounts, ensuring adherence to workflows and ethical coding principles.

  • Sets direction, resolves problems, and provides guidance to team members
  • Leads, coaches, recognizes, and develops employees to meet objectives and maintain company culture, policies, goals, and procedures
  • Administers the Quality Assessment process to ensure all quality standards are met
  • Daily management of operational processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity standards are met
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • A graduate degree in Medical or Allied Medical course or equivalent work experience
  • AAPC and/or AHIMA certification (CPMA is an advantage)
  • Proficiency in E/M and CPT Procedure coding
  • Minimum six months' experience with exceptional performance in chosen area of quality management Medical Coding – demonstrated HIPAA knowledge required
