Accounting Leadership Role

This leadership role involves overseeing month-end functions working closely with the corporate accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be familiar with US-based or global organizations.

The individual will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of consolidated financial statements, maintaining schedules supporting financial statements, and preparing reconciliations and journal entries for intercompany activities.

  • Assist in the timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements and footnote disclosures in accordance with US GAAP.
  • Maintain various schedules supporting financial statements and disclosures.
  • Prepare reconciliations and journal entries for intercompany activities, including equity method of accounting, fixed assets, leased assets, and POC accounting.

Additionally, the candidate will review standalone financial statements of subsidiaries to understand operations and ensure accurate disclosures. They will also work extensively with ERP systems, building customized reports for data analysis and reconciliations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting and 6-10 years of progressive accounting and reporting experience. They will have strong technical accounting expertise, especially in intercompany eliminations, and proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
