Senior Accounting Professional

Our ideal candidate will be an accomplished accounting professional with expertise in multi-entity accounting and a proven track record of providing exceptional support to finance teams. They should possess excellent communication skills, allowing them to effectively collaborate with senior leadership and across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities- Accounting Support
- Provide day-to-day accounting and administrative assistance to the Head of Finance, ensuring smooth financial operations
- Assist with monthly management reports, including analysis and commentary, to inform business decisions
- Support offshore teams with supplier invoice processing and reconciliations, maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain and monitor the fixed asset register, guaranteeing its integrity
- Assist with journal entries to ensure financial record accuracy, minimizing errors and discrepancies
- Prepare and journal weekly payroll, meeting deadlines and regulations
- Month-End & Year-End Support
- Assist offshore teams in month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely completion
- Prepare supporting reconciliations and documentation, facilitating audits and reviews
- Assist in producing management accounts for leadership teams, providing actionable insights
- Reporting & Analysis
- Help prepare clear, concise, and meaningful financial reports to support decision-making, driving business growth
- Administrative Support
- Manage the finance inbox and respond to queries in a timely manner, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Handle supplier setup and process local invoice payments, streamlining operations
- Process sales reimbursements and company expense claims, adhering to company policies
- Maintain vehicle compliance requirements, ensuring regulatory adherence
- Update daily cashbooks to ensure accurate cash flow records, informing financial strategies
- Ad Hoc Support
- Provide additional assistance on finance projects and other administrative tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
- 5+ years of solid accounting experience, including multi-entity accounting
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and across multiple entities
- Comfortable operating in a global environment with different currencies and time zones
- Exceptional English communication skills; prior global exposure valued
- Team management and leadership experience an advantage
- Familiarity with NetSuite ideal
- Proficiency in payroll processing and awareness of current AI/automation trends in finance
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and organisational skills
- Ability to thrive independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- A valid CPA license a plus
