Senior Java Developer Position

This role involves building high-performance, scalable Java applications using modern development techniques.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cutting-edge Java software solutions on the Spring Boot framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative enterprise-grade solutions.
  • Implement and maintain microservices architecture on the AWS cloud platform.
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code adhering to industry best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technology roadmap planning.
Requirements
  • 4-7 years of experience in professional Java development.
  • Strong proficiency with the Spring Boot framework and the Spring ecosystem (Security, Data JPA, Cloud).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, and IAM.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL optimization.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and clean code principles.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git) and agile development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Financial services industry experience.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and secure coding standards.
  • Experience with performance testing and optimization.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
