Cloud Software Developer

Arcanys, a pioneer in remote software development, is seeking an experienced Cloud Software Developer to join its team.

This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with a talented team, and develop skills in cloud computing, Java, and Kotlin.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, experience with modern Java deployment concepts, and knowledge of DevOps practices.

As a Cloud Software Developer at Arcanys, you will be responsible for designing and building new Java solutions for the cloud, using modern technologies such as serverless functions and containerized applications.

Additionally, you will work closely with the agile team to analyze business needs and propose/implement software solutions that meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build new Java solutions for the cloud.
  • Work with the agile team to analyze business needs and propose/implement software solutions.
  • Use modern Java deployment concepts for the cloud.
  • Apply DevOps concepts such as CI/CD and rapid-but-robust deployments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of web development experience.
  • 3 years of recent experience in Java.
  • Experience with Kotlin.
  • Experience with SQL databases.
  • Experience with Spring Boot.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services.
  • Git + GitHub / Bitbucket.
  • Test Driven Development.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Relevant educational background.
