Job Description:

As a Marketing Strategist, you will develop and implement marketing strategies centered on an audience predominantly visiting obituaries. You will collaborate with the product team to enhance email capture rates and optimize email conversion flows for our unique audience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-volume email marketing campaigns across multiple systems and email platforms.
  • Drive A/B tests to determine effective strategies for user acquisition, retention, and engagement.
  • Create engaging messaging that communicates the value proposition of consumer products while being sensitive to the audience's emotions.
  • Provide strategic recommendations for email platform consolidation and future selections.
  • Champion a customer-centric approach to improve the user journey.
  • Develop and manage key performance metrics and analyze campaign performance based on those KPIs.
  • Work closely with various teams to create cohesive and effective campaigns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, statistics, or similar discipline.
  • Strong experience building high-volume email campaigns from scratch.
  • Proven experience across a variety of email marketing and automation platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability in making strategic recommendations for email platform optimization.
  • Growth mindset with a results-driven approach to work.
  • Basic HTML and Salesforce experience required.
  • Demonstrated professionalism and strong attention to detail.
