Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to take on the role of Senior Quality Assurance Engineer. In this position, you will be responsible for driving projects with end-to-end quality assurance responsibilities.

This includes creating functional and automation test cases, managing and coordinating testing efforts, and taking complete ownership.

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive test strategies
  • Creating and executing automated test scripts using Java-Selenium, Oracle, SQL, and Python
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing efforts
  • Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in software application testing with strong exposure to Java-Selenium, Oracle, SQL, and Python
  • Prior experience in a business-facing role with the ability to liaise with stakeholders
  • Ability to plan and prioritize objectives and deliverables, as well as lead projects and work as an individual contributor
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Experience supporting vendor systems and working with Confluence and JIRA
  • Exposure to banking with knowledge of the trade settlement cycle
