Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand upgrade and implementation project artifacts, such as customer requirements and scope, test plans, and strategies.
• Support all phases of SimCorp Dimension upgrade and implementation project processes.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on analyzed project artifacts.
• Perform, monitor, and control prepared test cases and thoroughly report actual test outcomes versus expected results.
• Provide incident management for failed tests via reporting detected issues and carrying them out through the whole defect lifecycle.
• Participate in test automation, application of up-to-date tools and methodologies in testing, including cloud-based solutions.
• Collaborate closely with product development and business units at our organization.
• Participate in pre-testing kickoffs with clients identifying and documenting detailed workflows for efficient test implementation.

Requirements

• Degree within computer science, engineering, finance, economics, or mathematics.
• Knowledge of software upgrade and implementation project processes, software testing life cycle, incident management, and standard test deliverables.
• Have 4 to 7+ year experience in testing role working on complex systems most effectively within a financial domain.
• Previous experience in test automation would be beneficial.
• A relevant software testing qualification (e.g., ISTQB) is recommended.
• Unsupervised design, development, and implementation of test automation scripts is beneficial.
• Familiar with SQL and able to write basic scripts to manipulate data.
• Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office Applications.
• Ability to carry out tasks alone as well as in a cross-functional team.
• Understanding of Agile practices and frameworks.
• Familiarity with our company's products and services is beneficial but not mandatory.
