Job Opportunity: Content Creator/Vlogger

We are seeking a skilled content creator/vlogger to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging educational, general, and brand video content. They will work with customers to obtain video testimonials and create supporting images to illustrate videos. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the WordPress CMS, producing and editing quality videos for publication online, and creating screencasts. They should also have excellent on-camera and narration skills, an engaging personality, and the ability to describe technical software in a clear and accessible way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a video content calendar
  • Produce and edit engaging educational, general, and brand video content
  • Work with customers to obtain video testimonials
  • Create supporting images to illustrate videos
  • Create featured images for videos or work with our designer
  • Optional - Produce other types of video such as video tutorials and animated gifs showcasing our plugins
  • Optional - SEO keyword research and analytics to identify ideas for new videos
  • Optional - Analyze the impact of existing videos and look for new opportunities

Requirements:

  • Basic experience of working with the WordPress CMS
  • Proven experience of producing and editing quality videos for publication online
  • Experience creating screencasts
  • Ability to create images to illustrate your videos, including basic image editing such as cropping and sizing images, and opening and closing slides
  • Familiarity with YouTube trends and conventions, with the ability to utilize these techniques to increase subscribers, views, and overall engagement
