We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote Accounting Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual who possesses strong accounting skills and experience in managing billing and collections with precision and professionalism. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of customer communications and collections activities, entering information received from prospective clients and processing credit applications through appropriate agencies, requesting and processing prepayments on sales orders, following up on delinquent accounts for customers with outstanding balances or new orders, and processing vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer communications and collections activities
  • Process credit applications and manage billing and collections effectively
  • Request and process prepayments on sales orders as needed
  • Follow up on delinquent accounts to ensure prompt payment and minimize bad debt
  • Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2-3 years of experience in an office or accounting role with a focus on accounts payable and/or accounts receivable
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
