Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing tax accounts, working papers, and annual tax returns for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate financial statements, working papers, and tax returns in compliance with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) regulations.
  • Utilize accounting software for financial accounts and tax returns.
  • Manage client data and documentation via OneDrive and Outlook, complemented by PDF editor tools.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Provide expert advice and troubleshooting on tax-related matters, including income tax obligations and deductions, capital gains tax calculations, and goods and services tax compliance.
Requirements:
  • CPA, CA, or tax-specific qualifications.
  • Experience with other Australian accounting standards.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Australian tax accounting, with proven expertise in tax compliance, regulations, and strategies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Xero accounting software, Xero Practice Manager, OneDrive, Outlook, and Excel for reporting and data management.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex tax concepts clearly and professionally.
