Job Overview

Role Title: SQL Expert and Data Administrator

Work Setting: Remote

Employment Type: Full-time

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 10:30 AM – 6:30 PM EST

Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of SQL Expert and Data Administrator. The ideal candidate should have strong technical foundations, particularly in SQL or similar database tools, and possess excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimize complex Excel-based datasets for potential migration to SQL or other database systems
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, inconsistencies, and areas for operational improvement
  • Develop SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and organize data for reporting and decision-making
  • Maintain database integrity, ensuring accuracy, security, and efficiency
  • Provide administrative support to executives, including managing schedules, organizing documentation, and facilitating communication
  • Assist in workflow automation, enhancing business processes through database-driven solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven initiatives
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proficiency in SQL (or similar database tools) for data management and analysis
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and automation features
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets
  • Ability to work independently and problem-solve efficiently
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with QuickBooks for financial data management
  • Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana
  • Exposure to workflow automation and business process optimization
