Key Performance Engineer Role

This position is ideal for someone who excels in analyzing data, designing efficient systems, and creating actionable insights.

You will bridge analytics and engineering to make information accessible, accurate, and actionable across various platforms.

Job Responsibilities
  • Translate stakeholder needs into working prototypes, dashboards, and reporting tools within a short timeframe.
  • Create and deliver high-quality reporting packs for management, including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop flexible self-serve tools that meet their needs.
  • Collect and analyze productivity and performance data across departments, identifying gaps, trends, and actionable insights.
  • Proactively surface red flags, performance trends, and opportunities for improvement before leadership asks.
  • Maintain real-time dashboards using SQL, BI platforms, and embedded Google Sheets.
  • Ensure compliance, consistency, accuracy, and timeliness of all reports and dashboards.
  • Maintain KPI definitions, data dictionaries, and process documentation.
Technical Skills Required
  • 4–6 years of experience in data analytics, systems integration, or operations/reporting engineering.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Google Sheets/Excel, including advanced formulas, automation, and cross-sheet integrations.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and APIs, with the ability to write and maintain scripts. Experience with Python and Java is highly preferred (Node.js a plus).
  • Experience with BI tools (Domo, Tableau, or equivalent) and data pipeline automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, ClickUp, and workflow automation tools (Zapier or similar).
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS or similar), data pipelines, and security best practices.
  • Six Sigma or similar process improvement background (preferred).
