Job Title: Data Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with data integration, ETL processes, and database design.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Designing and implementing data integrations from internal and external sources into the data warehouse technical stack.
  2. Ensuring accurate data delivery to systems is key.
  3. Developing Matillion ETL scripts and ETL orchestrations as required.
  4. Leveraging monitoring tools to track status of ETL Pipelines for performance and completion.
  5. Engaging with Business Analyst & Technical Architects to clarify business requirements and offer recommendations for improvements.
  6. Contribute to defining a scalable data warehouse architecture.
  7. Coordinate production, development and sandbox environments.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of IT experience in working with ETL in an enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge in ETL Design methodologies including best practices, performance tuning, architecture, monitoring and alerting.
  • Experience with relational and dimensional data modelling and ability to represent data using standard modelling techniques.
  • Proficient with SQL and stored procedures.
  • Experience in working with at least one of these warehouse technologies such as SQL, Snowflake, AWS Redshift.
