About the Role:

The Reporting Analyst II plays a crucial role in the Order-to-Cash management process at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. This position is responsible for extracting and combining accounts receivable data, preparing and issuing reports, and supporting the regular month-end close reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data extraction and combination from various systems.
  • Daily/monthly report preparation and issuance.
  • Month-end close reporting support, ensuring data accuracy and delivering high-quality reports.
  • New report creation based on business requirements, incorporating data from different sources.
  • Data analysis to identify trends, areas of improvement, and potential risks against key performance indicators.
  • Collaboration with internal partners for alignment and effective communication.
  • Supporting Finance leadership to meet divisional finance reporting and analysis requirements.
  • Meeting assigned targets and fulfilling Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Ensuring task completion in accordance with company policies, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • Fostering a culture of continuous process improvement within the team.
  • Serving as a subject matter expert for all processes and collaborating with Global Process Owners (GPO).
  • Building and updating process documentation and training materials as needed.
  • Participating in reporting automation efforts and departmental or cross-functional projects.
  • Coordinating with Internal and External Audit teams to facilitate testing procedures.
