We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional to transform high-resolution 2D portrait images into 3D models.

About The Role
  • The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of image processing, 3D modeling, and precision formatting for laser engraving systems.

This role involves converting 2D images into 3D models with raised facial features and ensuring compatibility of point cloud files with engraving machine formats.

Key Responsibilities
  • Convert 2D images (JPEG/PNG) into 3D models with raised facial features (bas-relief effect)
  • Enhance image clarity and contrast to optimize depth and detail in final output
  • Ensure compatibility of point cloud files with engraving machine formats (e.g., OBJ)
  • Scale and align models to match crystal dimensions (e.g., 5cm cube)
  • Perform quality checks and deliver engraving-ready files for production

This is an entry-level opportunity that requires the ability to work independently and manage multiple image conversions efficiently.

Requirements
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender, MeshLab, or equivalent)
  • Experience with point cloud generation and manipulation
  • Familiarity with subsurface laser engraving or similar precision manufacturing processes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet formatting specifications
