About This Opportunity

The Senior Compliance Specialist will collaborate with other security measures to ensure our customers can utilize their accounts to their full potential and help maintain a secure platform, thereby meeting compliance regulations.

In this role, you will develop expertise in identifying non-compliant messaging and bad actors who attempt to send fraudulent content. This position is part of the Compliance & Monitoring team, working alongside specialists from various teams.

This role involves real-time monitoring of messaging compliance, verification of new account sign-ups, and verification of changes to customer's registered business information.

  • Monitor and approve live message content to identify potential fraud, spam, and phishing attempts.
  • Detect, report, and take appropriate action against suspicious activity, including blocking accounts that pose a risk.

As a senior member of the Compliance function, you will create and update business processes, serve as a key point of contact within the team, and stay current on regulatory updates.

Onboard, mentor, and oversee Compliance Specialists, ensuring they meet expectations and are set up for success.

Develop, document, and update internal knowledge articles, training materials, and customer-facing collateral related to Compliance and Monitoring.

Educate customers on content guidelines and responsible messaging, collaborating closely with Support, Account Managers, and Account Executives.

Act as an escalation point and Subject Matter Expert for compliance-related issues raised by customers, support, or sales teams.

Analyze performance, implement process improvements, and report on SLAs to enhance team efficiency and message handling.

Meet or exceed KPIs while providing guidance and best practices for high-value customers.

Key Qualifications
  • You possess exceptional attention to detail and accuracy to ensure messages containing disallowed content are not released and suspicious accounts have the necessary actions taken.
  • You consider both immediate risks and long-term impacts to the business when assessing message/account reviews.
  • You communicate effectively with team members and leaders across the organization relating to compliance/fraud/spam concerns and opportunities to improve processes and customer experience.
  • You focus on understanding the root cause of incidents and creating reports for further analysis.
