Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Visualization Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing interactive dashboards that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with Looker, including LookML development, dashboard creation, and data visualization. They will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Interactive Dashboards: Create user-friendly, interactive dashboards that align with business requirements and provide actionable insights.
  • LookML Development: Design, develop, and maintain LookML models, explores, and dashboards to support business intelligence needs.
  • Data Visualization: Implement complex data transformations, calculations, and aggregations using LookML, and ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity across all Looker assets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with Looker, including LookML development, dashboard creation, and data visualization.
  • Proficiency in LookML for building and maintaining models, explores, and dashboards.
  • Strong understanding of data visualization principles and experience in creating user-friendly, interactive dashboards.
  • Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL.
  • Solid understanding of BI data architecture, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling (e.g., star schemas, snowflake schemas, and 1-3NF data models).
