We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Web Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing well-tested and documented software.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving best practices across the team, for all disciplines, bringing great ideas to the table to lead technical conversations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify key areas for improvement and drive initiatives to enhance them
  • Design and implement well-documented software solutions
  • Debug and fix issues encountered by users
  • Lead code reviews and architectural discussions
  • Contribute to technical documentation to make it comprehensive
  • Seek opportunities to improve engineering and operations practices
  • Deploy and operate services developed by the team
  • Support the success of products through technical advocacy
Requirements:
  • Curate technical quality standards by designing an architectural approach to support business objectives
  • Demonstrate passion for soft skills and self-motivation
  • Showcase an exceptional academic track record from high school and university
  • Possess an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM, or a compelling narrative about your alternative path
  • Demonstrate drive and a track record of exceeding expectations
  • Be well-organized, self-starting, and able to deliver on schedule
  • Show competency in researching new technology or approaches, and tastefully integrating changes into projects
  • Provide comprehensive and insightful code review on items of any size within a project
  • HAVE an eye for accessibility and performance
  • Have professional written and spoken English
  • Experience with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Result-oriented, with a personal drive to meet commitments
