Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Web Engineering Manager to join our team. As a Web Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of web engineers and ensuring that they are growing as professionals. You will work collaboratively with other teams and roles across the organization to deliver reliable, scalable, and delightful user experiences.

You will have the opportunity to influence the culture, facilitate technical delivery, and work with your team on strategy and execution. You will also participate in code and architectural reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and seek improvements to engineering and operations practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about web and software development
  • Values soft skills and is passionate, enterprising, thoughtful, and self-motivated
  • Exceptional academic track record from both high school and university
  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or STEM, or a compelling narrative about an alternative path
  • Drive and a track record of going above and beyond expectations
  • Well-organized, self-starting, and able to deliver to schedule
  • Professional manner in interacting with colleagues, partners, and community
  • Experience designing and writing high-quality web technologies
  • Experience with and passion for Typescript, React, or Flutter
  • An eye for accessibility and performance
  • Professional written and spoken English
  • Experience with Linux (Debian or Ubuntu preferred)
