Job Overview

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records and procedures.

Key to this role is the ability to streamline and maintain complex accounts, as well as analyze and interpret financial data to deliver detailed reports.

Additional responsibilities include monitoring transactions, preparing financial reports for key stakeholders, and performing period-end General Ledger account reconciliation and research discrepancies.

You will also be required to import and post journal entries into the general ledger, identify and resolve accounting issues, and deliver monthly balance sheet reconciliation.

Ultimately, your goal will be to improve overall financial performance by creating roles and accounting procedures to reduce company costs.

Effective communication with internal and external customers will be crucial in achieving this goal.

Requirements
  • 8 years of experience in Accounting.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Oracle, and web-based tools.
  • A high level of accuracy when preparing and entering financial information.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality regarding financial information.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • A track record of completing high-quality work.
  • Ability to figure out complex problems and enjoy a hands-on approach.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
