Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, basic math abilities and the ability to operate registers and related payment terminals.

This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide quality customer service
  • Trustworthy and detail-oriented with minimal supervision

Responsibilities
  • Operate registers, scanners, scales and credit card/debit card terminals
  • Balance the cash register and generate reports for credit and debit sales
  • Accept payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and provide a receipt to every customer
  • Maintain accurate cash drawer
  • Keep the checkout area clean and orderly
