Job Title: BIM Modeler Drafter

About the Role:
  • Create and modify technical drawings, layout plans, and 3D models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
  • Interpret sketches, specifications, and design intent to produce accurate documentation.
  • C coordinate with project teams to ensure model accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Update and maintain drawing sets and files throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in clash detection, quantity take-offs, and visualization tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop 2D Drawings and 3D Models: Utilize industry-standard software to create and modify technical drawings and 3D models.
  • Interpret Design Intent: Accurately interpret sketches, specifications, and design intent to produce precise documentation.
  • Coordinate Project Teams: Collaborate with project teams to ensure model accuracy and compliance with standards.
  • Update Drawing Sets: Maintain and update drawing sets and files throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Clash Detection and Visualization: Assist in clash detection, quantity take-offs, and visualization tasks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma: Hold a degree in Architecture, Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: Possess at least 2 years of experience in drafting or modeling in a professional setting.
Technical Skills:
  • AutoCAD and Revit Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other building information modeling software.
  • Familiarity with Construction Documentation: Familiarity with construction documentation, layout planning, and elevation detailing.
  • Building Codes and Materials: Understanding of building codes, construction methods, and materials.
  • Cloud-Based Collaboration Tools: Experience with cloud-based collaboration tools.
