Job Title: Derivatives Operations SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled specialist to support the end-to-end lifecycle of derivatives within the investment operations function.About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the accurate and efficient processing of derivatives transactions across multiple asset classes, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational issues and ensure service quality.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Execution:
    • Support the accurate processing and lifecycle management of OTC and listed derivatives, including trade capture, confirmation, settlement, margining, and collateral management.
    • Ensure timely resolution of trade breaks, reconciliations, and discrepancies in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement and Efficiency:
    • Identify opportunities to enhance processes, reduce manual intervention, and improve operational efficiency.
    • Collaborate with technology teams to implement automation initiatives and system enhancements.
  • Risk Management and Compliance:
    • Adhere to regulatory and internal policies, ensuring compliance with frameworks such as EMIR, Dodd-Frank, and MiFID II.
    • Monitor key risk indicators and support the implementation of controls to mitigate operational risks.
  • Team Support and Development:
    • Contribute to a collaborative and effective team culture by sharing knowledge, supporting peers, and participating in training initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
