Our organization is seeking a skilled Mobile Laboratory Field Technician to operate our mobile laboratory and company-owned vehicles in accordance with transportation safety procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting sampling in accordance with standard procedures, safely collecting and transporting field samples to the fuel testing facility, and maintaining the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the mobile laboratory and sampling devices.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating the mobile laboratory and company-owned vehicles in accordance with transportation safety procedures.
  • Conducting sampling in accordance with standard procedures, including random field-testing and quality check (QC) testing.
  • Safely collecting and transporting field samples to the fuel testing facility.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the mobile laboratory and sampling devices.
  • Recording all trips in a daily travel log or mobile application, including mileage and purpose of the trip.

Additional responsibilities include preparing travel management plans, performing daily and monthly vehicle checks using inspection forms or mobile applications, and reporting any vehicular-related incidents to your superior. You will also be required to maintain compliance with group and national policies, including quality management systems.

To succeed in this role, you should have a valid professional driver's license restriction 2 or code B,B1,B2, C, as well as a minimum of one year of driving experience. Knowledge in auto mechanics is an advantage. You must be able to work effectively and responsibly, with good oral communication skills and ability to coordinate and motivate externally and internally. You should also be able to build confidence, respect, and confidentiality, and act quickly and decisively.

Responsibilities may include coordinating logistics, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and adhering to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
