Job Title: Administrative Assistant with EMR Expertise

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized administrative professional to join our team in a healthcare setting. As an Administrative Assistant with EMR expertise, you will play a vital role in managing administrative tasks, ensuring accurate patient records, and supporting the medical team.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

  • Manage and maintain patient records using EMR systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform clerical duties such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence.
  • Assist healthcare professionals with administrative tasks and documentation.
  • Ensure proper filing and retrieval of electronic medical records.
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide support for appointment scheduling and follow-ups.
  • Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of all patient information.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of medical supplies.
  • Provide administrative support for office management tasks as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role within a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and healthcare management software.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
