Software Development Professional

We are seeking an accomplished Software Development Professional to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Android team. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who thinks strategically, enjoys fast-paced environments, and has experience building great user experiences.

This key role involves owning major features, working closely with our design team, and improving reliability metrics for key features. You will also participate in discussions across different teams, review pull requests, and support other teammates.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead major features and collaborate with designers to create innovative solutions
  • Contribute to shaping the future of our Android team
  • Enhance reliability metrics for critical features
  • Participate in cross-functional discussions
  • Review code contributions and provide support to team members

The ideal candidate should possess 5+ years of software engineering experience, familiarity with Android components, and experience building or contributing to at least one Android app. Additionally, they should have product design intuition, user empathy, and drive to push the boundaries of Android UI/UX.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Advanced knowledge of software development principles and practices
  • Experience with Kotlin, Coroutines, Flow, Dagger 2, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Background Services, Music Player Service, Android Animations, Jetpack Navigation, JUnit tests
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of user-oriented approaches
Bonus Requirements:
  • Experience contributing to open-source projects in Android
  • Knowledge of iOS, Web, or NodeJS
