Business Analyst for Receivables Management

Job Summary:

As a Business Analyst for Receivables Management at Linaheim Corporate Services, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the credit customers' accounts and ensuring timely payment collection. This position involves direct supervision under the Credit and Collection Manager and requires strong analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Account Reconciliation: Generate weekly Statements of Accounts from SAP, arrange them according to client requirements, and ensure clients are updated on their outstanding balances. Prepare account reconciliation reports for all customer feedback received through phone calls or visits.
  • Credit Resolution: Prepare journal vouchers and credit memos by calling/emailing clients regarding payments (check details) to resolve un-applied/unposted payments and disputes within 3 days from OR date.
  • Booking and Collection: Ensure timely payment collection by calling/following up with clients and collecting checks/cash payments assigned to credit customers during visits. Coordinate collected payments with the Billing and Dispatch section for updating client records.
Reports and Records Monitoring:
  • Prepare monthly collection forecast reports and monitor actual collection vs. forecasted to keep management updated on the company's receivables status.
  • Maintain a list of key contacts for each account and complete files/records of clients assigned, obtained through phone or client visit, for future reference.
Quality Management:

Comply with all corporate policies and procedures and AR Standard Operating Procedures. Suggest process improvement efforts to ensure high and consistent standards of service across AR Finance.
