Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Secondary and Control Design Engineer to lead our team in delivering high-quality projects for internal and external clients.

The successful candidate will have expertise in designing technical solutions, managing stakeholders, and communicating with clients to ensure project outcomes meet expectations.

This role requires strong leadership skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to coach and develop less experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define the scope of substation projects focusing on secondary and control components, design technical solutions, and lead project/design teams to deliver those solutions.
  • Manage design stakeholders to achieve best-for-project outcomes, leading technical delivery teams.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across service lines, planning, leading, and coordinating resources to meet project technical and commercial outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with clients about current work and future needs, providing timely updates on project progress.
  • Supervise, support, and train less experienced team members, formally mentoring young professionals.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Expertise in AutoCAD, MicroStation, ETAP, etc.
