The primary objective of a Business Development Manager is to identify and capitalize on emerging business opportunities. This involves delivering persuasive sales presentations to senior executives and decision-makers, overseeing the entire sales process from prospecting and pitching to closing and integrating new clients.
A successful candidate will possess a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in business development, preferably as a BDM or similar role. They should also have a proven track record in B2B sales, especially in sectors such as BPO, SaaS, or IT. Experience with virtual selling, including video conferencing, is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills are necessary, along with confidence, charisma, and drive to meet and exceed targets. Previous experience in Virtual Assistant or Business Support Services is highly regarded.
