Job Title: Technical Product Consultant I

The role of a Technical Product Consultant I involves analyzing client systems, interface requirements, business processes, and operations needs to determine client needs and appropriate solutions. Key responsibilities include conducting project initiation activities/needs assessments, developing design documents, and providing professional consulting services in areas such as product/service customizations, business processes, and complex custom reports.

In addition, the consultant will be responsible for performing basic system configuration, consulting with clients on system and service configuration efforts, product adaptation, and best practice solutions. They will also partner with Project Services and Implementation to leverage validation tools to ensure system performance.

The consultant will proactively own and manage high-touch customer relationships, acting as a single point-of-contact for customer issues. This includes being accountable for all technical/product issues and technical relationship, ensuring execution of all customer service level agreements (SLAs) for technical products.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, proficiency in PC navigation, and knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools. They should also understand and be capable in troubleshooting and performing advanced system and integration configuration.

Bachelor's degree in HCM related field or equivalent education and experience is preferred, as well as 3-4 years of experience working in a client service environment. The candidate should demonstrate a proven ability to maintain focus and work effectively with multiple demands, strong client relationship skills, and ability to work as part of a team to accomplish tasks.

Additionally, they must be comfortable working in a performance-based and structured environment while demonstrating high ethical standards. Strong analytical and time management skills, as well as proficiency in the latest web technologies, are highly desired. Experience or Training in Project Management, Work experience or certifications in Networking, Database Usage, SQL, US Benefits & Payroll Knowledge are beneficial but not required.
