Risk Management Specialist


About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to work with clients in identifying and managing supply chain risks. As a Risk Management Specialist, you will be responsible for advising clients on best practices in vendor risk management and ensuring successful delivery of solutions to solve customer problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consulting Engagements: Participate in third-party risk management consulting engagements as part of our Supply Chain Defense business.
  • Vendor Workshops: Support Third Party Risk Workshops at clients focused on vendor identification, stratification, onboarding, monitoring, remediation, cybersecurity risk questionnaire development, and project delivery.
  • Project Delivery: Manage project and program delivery, including project management, reporting, engagement in senior leadership meetings, drafting and reviewing materials for senior management, and governance activities.
  • Client Communication: Communicate findings and recommendations to client stakeholders, share best practices, tools, and technology.
  • Process Optimization: Mature standard operating procedures for customers to optimize utilization of our offerings.
  • Cross-Sell Opportunities: Enable business development in renewal, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities while maintaining client trust.
  • Travel: Travel to clients as requested.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: CISSP or similar preferred.
  • Skills: Familiarity with encryption fundamentals and network design required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of Third-Party Risk Management consulting experience (including vendor cybersecurity risk) at a Big 4 consulting firm or vendor risk management company.
  • Leadership: 3+ years leading an enterprise risk management program, including Third-Party Risk, Internal Risk Maturity, and Assessment.
  • Accreditation: Information security/cybersecurity accreditation and background.
  • Tech Expertise: Experience working in a cybersecurity or technology organization.
  • Entrepreneurial Nature: Entrepreneurial nature and drive for results.
  • Communication Skills: Clear communication and writing skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to conduct deep client discovery to uncover root cause problems and build trusted relationships.
  • Solution Design: Ability to design programs and solutions with minimal guidance and oversight.
