Rippedboxstation is seeking a skilled Clinical Monitoring and Customer Service Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of our RPM, CCM, RTM & PCM services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screen patients for Medicare and insurance eligibility to receive RPM, CCM, RTM & PCM services.
- Welcome patients to the RPM program and educate them on how to use the monitoring device.
- Set up monitoring devices in the remote monitoring system and track delivery of devices from manufacturer to the patients home.
- Support device delivery and ensure timely completion of clinical minutes and notes each month.
- Store and transmit patient consent forms and add consented patients to the software platform.
- Comply with all HIPAA guidelines and maintain the confidentiality of clients and patients.
- Perform duties within the scope of practice approved by the state in which the patient is located.
- Provide utilization management and quality improvement in accordance with utilization policies and processes.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in customer service in healthcare.
- Experience with electronic medical records and healthcare monitoring devices.
- Possesses planning, organizing, conflict resolution, negotiating, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and ability to learn proprietary programs.
- Independent problem identification/resolution and decision-making skills.
- A nursing or clinical degree.
- Knowledge of legal and ethical issues related to patients rights and care delivery.
