Job Overview

The Assistant Store Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of our retail farm and ranch store. As the second-in-command, they are responsible for overseeing daily operations and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining a regular attendance schedule.
  • Working varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed.
  • Providing exceptional customer service through GURA: greeting customers, uncovering their needs, recommending products, and adding value.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in all Team Leader and Receiver functions, with strong interpersonal skills to resolve issues effectively.
Key Requirements:
  • Prior retail leadership experience is mandatory; knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is highly desirable.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.

This role involves working in an indoor environment with moderate noise levels, standing for extended periods, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. The ability to move quickly and safely throughout the store and outdoor areas is essential. Regular attendance and flexibility are crucial to success in this position.
