Job Title: Epidemiology Research Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced epidemiology research consultant to join our team.

A Doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in epidemiology is required for this role. The ideal candidate will have at least two publications in the last two years in their field and excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate Study Design and Methodology: Assess whether the study design and methods are appropriate, comprehensive, and clearly described.
  • Analyse Results and Conclusions: Evaluate whether results are presented clearly and whether conclusions are supported by data and significant to the field.
  • Providing Constructive Feedback: Provide feedback suggesting improvements or highlighting flaws, omissions, or ethical concerns.
Key Requirements:
  • Doctorate (PhD/MD) or equivalent advanced degree in epidemiology.
  • At least two publications in the last two years in the field.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as a peer reviewer for academic journals.
  • Familiarity with online manuscript submission and review systems.
