Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Social Media Management:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to elevate our online presence and convert audience engagement into active participation.
    • Collaborate with the team on overarching social media strategy, providing actionable insights and driving results.
  • Video Editing & Content Creation:
    • Lead the editing of high-quality video content, ensuring strategic alignment and consistency across all platforms.
    • Create compelling content that reflects a deep understanding of business objectives and conversion funnels.
    • Utilize tools like Buffer and Canva to schedule and produce content efficiently.
  • Industry & Audience Engagement:
    • Position our company as a leading brand within the entertainment industry, leveraging authentic tone and deep resonance with professionals.
    • Stay informed about industry trends and leverage this knowledge to create impactful content.
  • Analytics & Ownership:
    • Take ownership of social media analytics, providing regular reports and actionable insights on performance and ROI.
    • Continuously optimize content based on data-driven insights, demonstrating pride in work and a drive for continuous improvement.
    Requirements:
    • 5+ years of experience in social media management, with a focus on driving business objectives, ideally within the entertainment industry.
    • A genuine passion for film and television, coupled with an understanding of the language and realities of being a filmmaker or actor.
    • Strong analytical skills, capable of thinking critically about design and editing choices in terms of their impact on business goals.
    • Strong video editing skills (familiar with tools like Photoshop, Premiere Pro) with a portfolio to match.
    • Proven ability to work independently and proactively manage a content calendar without requiring constant direction.
