We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the role of Medical Billing Specialist.

  • Medical Billing Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Thoroughly research and resolve claim rejections and unbilled accounts, implementing measures to prevent future occurrences.
  • Accurately document all account activities in a timely manner.
  • Process adjustments and manage collections from various payers.
  • Proficiently utilize billing systems, leveraging their functionality to ensure efficient claim processing.
  • Stay up-to-date on changes in billing and coding guidelines, payer contracts, and government regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and healthcare providers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in end-to-end revenue cycle processes, including eligibility verification, charge review, claims submission, denial management, and collections, is required.
  • Experience working with AdvancedMD is essential.
  • Candidates must demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Candidates must be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and handle periods of increased pressure.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are necessary, as this role involves interacting with various stakeholders, insurance companies, and healthcare providers.
