Job Description

As a Junior Backend Developer, you will play a key role in supporting the development and maintenance of our cloud-based applications.

You will work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to implement APIs, enhance system functionality, and ensure seamless integration of backend components.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of solid hands-on experience in designing & developing server side applications including at least 1 year of experience with Nodejs.

Responsibilities include assisting in the development, testing, and maintenance of backend applications and APIs, writing clean, scalable, and well-documented code, supporting database management, collaborating with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver end-to-end features.

Key responsibilities also include participating in code reviews and contributing to team best practices, troubleshooting and debugging backend issues and proposing effective solutions.

Additionally, the successful candidate will stay up to date with emerging technologies relevant to backend development and cloud computing.

A strong understanding of algorithms and data structures is also required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Required skills include:

  • Solid experience with Relational and NOSQL databases
  • Experience with cloud platforms, ideally AWS
  • Experience with unit testing
  • Experience using Git
  • Designing API, Docker

Preferred skills include experience with React or any other Front End frameworks, SSR, SSG, GraphQL, gRPC.
