Senior Azure DevOps Engineer Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to fill a critical role in our IT team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to join our organization and contribute their expertise in delivering innovative solutions.

Job Overview

This position involves designing and implementing automated, containerized cloud application platform solutions with a focus on application concerns. The successful candidate will be responsible for mentoring the developer community in best practices associated with CI/CD deployments using Azure DevOps and GitLab.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps or a related IT field, with at least 5 years of experience. They will also have hands-on experience in Azure DevOps operations, including building automation and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design automated, containerized cloud application platform solutions with a focus on application concerns.
  • Provide mentoring to the developer community in best practices associated with CI/CD deployments using Azure DevOps and GitLab.
  • Design, build, manage, and operate the continuous delivery framework and tools.
  • Write and build continuous delivery pipelines to manage and automate the lifecycle of different platform components.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in DevOps or a related IT field.
  • Hands-on experience in Azure DevOps operations, including building automation and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience in Docker as a Developer.
  • Experience with the OpenShift Container Platform (OCP), including managing container image repositories and deploying OCP in public and private cloud environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps and GitLab, and CI/CD processes.
