Financial Manager Role Description

This role is responsible for overseeing the financial management of a complex entity, encompassing period-closing, control attestation, financial statement review, tax compliance support, and audit/limited review. The professional will work independently within defined boundaries and guidelines in a specific area but will need supervision and support on more complex tasks.

The ideal candidate will have considerable years of relevant experience, good English communication skills, MS Office proficiency, and Excel skills. They should be amenable to working in a night shift schedule and have knowledge of SAP Accounting System and One Stream – Reporting and Consolidation, Oracle based.

Key Responsibilities
  • Covers cost and budget accounting, including cost allocation, variance analysis, and budget oversight.
  • Manages accounts payable/receivable and billing tasks.
  • Coaches, mentors, or oversees the work of less experienced staff and manages processes or programs.

Progression within this stream reflects increasing depth of professional knowledge, project management capability, and the ability to influence others. A colleague at this level works independently within defined boundaries and guidelines in a specific area but will need supervision and support on more complex tasks.

Participate and be involved in ATR automations and projects to drive process efficiencies.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of BS Accountancy, preferably a CPA.
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage, with IFS, Dynamics and other relevant systems.
  • Strong analytical skill.
  • Confidentiality and discretion of a very high level are expected.
  • Capable of meeting very strict deadlines and flexible to work in a team environment.
  • Highly energetic and self-motivated, proactive and resourceful.
