Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to lead sourcing strategies for raw ingredients or specialty chemicals used in cosmetics, personal care, and fragrances across the Asia Pacific region.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Sourcing:
  • Conduct supplier base selections, negotiate contracts, and ensure alignment with global, regional, and local strategies.
Supplier Relations Management:
  • Manage supplier compliance, track performance, and lead development activities to improve service and cost efficiency.
Sourcing Operations Management:
  • Define purchase prices, update supplier information, and collaborate on projects to optimize costs and lead times.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Material Management, or Supply Chain Management. You should also have at least 7 years of progressive experience in procurement and sourcing within a manufacturing environment, including 1 to 2 years of direct raw materials sourcing/procurement experience, particularly with chemicals used in cosmetics, personal care, and fragrances for FMCG.

Other essential skills include strong negotiation, vendor management, and project management skills, as well as excellent data analytics, presentation, and people skills. Additionally, you will need to have high financial acumen and adaptability to changes and technological proficiency, with above-average experience in procurement systems and commonly used software tools.
