Accounting professionals with a strong foundation in bookkeeping are needed to support our business operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with routine accounting procedures such as bank, credit card, and payroll account reconciliations, accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), and other accounting-related functions.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to effectively communicate open items or anomalies to staff accountants and follow up to ensure items are fully resolved. They will also be responsible for examining bank transactions and flagging unknown transactions to the accountant or accounting lead.

We are seeking individuals who can prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation of reconciliation items in work papers. In addition, they should be able to contribute to other department and team projects as needed and perform other duties as required.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Exposure to bookkeeping and experience with Microsoft Excel are essential.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary to manage multiple competing priorities stemming from client needs and requests.
  • Aptitude in data management, analytics, and reporting preparation is highly desirable.
  • Ability to function independently and work autonomously is a must.
