Senior Accountant Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for performing end-to-end General Ledger Accounting, partnering with the Finance Controller for ASC 606 recording and commission expense reporting, designing and rolling out processes for capitalizing software development costs under ASC 350, preparing and presenting financial reports for senior leadership, leading projects requiring technical accounting research, GAAP compliance, and memo preparation, identifying and implementing process and system improvements, participating in software implementations, process upgrades, and cross-training initiatives, and taking ownership of special projects, ad hoc reports, and general accounting duties as needed.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience, including at least 2-3 years in Big 4 audit or multinational companies
  • Strong technical expertise, leadership potential, and passion for solving complex challenges in the technology space
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently while acting with integrity and professionalism
Key Skills
  • QuickBooks, Bill.com, and Credit Card transaction experience
  • ASC 606 knowledge and application
  • Leadership and project management skills
  • Technical accounting research and GAAP compliance
  • Financial report preparation and presentation
