Key Account Collections Manager

The role of the Key Account Collections Manager is to manage a team of collections professionals to ensure efficient, timely, and compliant collection of outstanding accounts. The position drives performance against set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), resolves escalated cases, and partners with stakeholders to improve recovery rates while maintaining excellent customer relationships.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  1. Lead and manage daily activities of the collections team to meet or exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and recovery targets.
  2. Monitor individual and team performance, providing coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback.
  3. Conduct daily huddles, weekly performance reviews, and one-on-one coaching sessions.

Additionally, the Key Account Collections Manager will be responsible for overseeing collection activities including outbound/inbound calls, email follow-ups, and dispute resolution. They will also ensure compliance with applicable laws, client guidelines, and company policies.

Other key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing escalated accounts, negotiating payment arrangements when necessary.
  2. Tracking and analyzing collection performance, delinquency trends, and recovery rates.
  3. Preparing and delivering operational performance reports to management.
  4. Collaborating with clients, internal teams, and other departments to resolve account issues.

The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They will be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
