Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive quality assurance specialist who can also take on support and project management responsibilities. This role will ensure our digital projects meet the highest quality standards, while also acting as a bridge between clients and the development team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and test completed work to identify defects, inconsistencies, or usability issues.
  • Log and track bugs in Trello, providing clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
  • Identify not only task-specific defects but also related side issues that could impact project quality.
  • Ensure issues are addressed before delivery to the client.

As a boutique agency with a nimble team, they've designed and developed over 100 projects to date. They value quality over quantity and will tell you if we feel something doesn't make sense.

What You'll Do

Quality Assurance (Manual Testing)

  • Liaise directly with clients to assess incoming support requests, clarifying requirements where needed.
  • Translate client feedback into actionable tasks for the development team.
  • Prioritize and manage support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
  • Track project progress and update relevant stakeholders.

Client Support & Project Coordination

  • Work within Trello and Jira to manage and monitor tasks.
  • Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and other stakeholders to maintain smooth workflows.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in project management or coordination.
  • Familiarity with web technologies, CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), and basic HTML/CSS concepts.
