Job Overview

BIM Manager / Standards Lead plays a pivotal role in IWG's internal BIM standards development and implementation. This position leads the strategic direction for leveraging BIM as a core operational tool.

About the Role

This individual is responsible for aligning stakeholders across the organization and vendor ecosystem, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • BIM Standardization: Develop and maintain IWG's BIM standards and Revit template libraries to ensure consistency and efficiency.
  • BEP Framework Development: Lead the creation of the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) framework and enforce adherence across projects to guarantee successful outcomes.
  • BIM Guidance: Provide expert guidance on BIM-related decisions across design, execution, and facilities teams to optimize project delivery.
  • Vendor Review: Conduct strategic reviews of vendor models and processes to ensure alignment with IWG expectations.
  • BIM Onboarding: Design and implement cross-functional BIM onboarding and training programs to enhance team capabilities.
  • BIM Technology Selection: Evaluate and select BIM technologies and tools for implementation to drive innovation and productivity.
Requirements:
  • Leadership Experience: 3-5 years of experience in BIM or VDC leadership roles, with a proven track record of success.
  • Technical Expertise: Extensive expertise in Revit, coordination workflows, and standards implementation.
  • Skill Set: Strong leadership, cross-functional communication, change management, and digital transformation skills.
  • Global Implementation: Proven experience implementing BIM standards across global teams, with a focus on adaptability and flexibility.
