About the Role:

">The Asian Development Bank (ADB) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Regional Development Expert - Senior Leadership Position. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the bank's strategy and contributing to the achievement of our mission to alleviate poverty and promote sustainable development in Asia and the Pacific.">

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership on regional development initiatives, working closely with senior management and stakeholders to identify opportunities for collaboration and innovation;">
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to address complex development challenges, leveraging expertise from across the organization and beyond;">
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and partners, ensuring that their needs are met and their expectations exceeded;">
  • Foster a culture of excellence within the department, driving high performance and continuous improvement through coaching, mentoring, and empowerment;">
  • Represent the ADB at international forums and events, promoting the bank's work and influencing policy debates.">

Requirements:

  • ">
  • Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as economics, finance, or international development;">
  • At least 15 years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in a multilateral development institution or similar organization;">
  • Proven track record of success in managing large-scale projects and teams, with a focus on results-oriented delivery;">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels;">
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically;">
  • Certification in project management or a related field is an asset.">
