About the Role

As a Business Application Support Expert at Wee Community Developers, Inc., you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning and optimization of our Enterprise Resource Planning system. This system integrates core business processes such as sales, accounting, finance, procurement, documentation, inventory, project management, and human resources.

The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to these processes, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations. Key responsibilities include monitoring and responding to open tickets, prioritizing and handling service requests and incidents, and escalating alerts that cannot be resolved to 3rd party maintenance support teams.

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. If you have a strong background in computer science or information technology and are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to open tickets submitted through an incident management system
  • Prioritize and handle service requests and incidents
  • Troubleshoot and escalate alerts that cannot be resolved to 3rd party maintenance support teams
  • Progress issues and provide relevant information for troubleshooting or for clarification
  • Test and verify fixes on test system prior to deployment in live system
  • Work collaboratively with Project Manager and Department Heads on change requests, managing issues and establishing priorities
  • Resolve system problems during non-business hours or backlogs by providing off-hours support as needed
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to departmental initiatives
  • Ensure the performance of daily health checks of the applications, scripts, and infrastructure
  • Responsible for installing, configuring, and administering application servers
  • Review work log, customer feedback periodically with supervisor and other analysts and technicians, to identify and act on opportunities for improvement
  • Document software support activities thoroughly, accurately, and in a timely manner
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with third-party vendor support teams and other stakeholders
  • Assist Project Manager in other ERP related activities such as training, creation and updating of documentation and data setup
  • Assist Project Manager in other tasks as needed
